The Master of Ligth & Shadow: Rich Tavares

Rich Tavarez arrived at the Golden Hour of the RaceWars at Fontana Auto Club Race Track, as the sun sets in the west and the sky turns into gold.   Models suddenly flocked around him, while he sets his gear to get ready  for a different kind of photography, one that spells a difference that reveals the beauty of light, colors,  shadow and composition. They waited to get a glimpse and pose for the Photography Style of Rich Tavarez: “The Master of Light and Shadow.”

Feature Photographer: Rich Tavarez (Upland, Southern California)

Richh Tavarez arrived at the Golden Hour of the RaceWars at Fontana Auto Club Race Track, as the sun sets in the west to meet the moon rising as the sky turns into gold. Models suddenly flocks around, while he sets his gear to get ready for a different kind of photography, one that spells the beauty of light, colors, light, shadow and composition to get a glimpse and pose for the Photography Style of Rich Tavarez: “The Master of Light and Shadow.” An Ace Photographer with more than two decades of experience, Rich Tavarez was inspired to indulge into the art of writng with light by his Uncle at an early age. He started photography using film when digital cameras was not yet around in the market and knows the meaning of speed, apperture and ISO by heart. How he place his speedlight to constructs and compose the image of his subjects in a difficult against the light position is sign of craftsmanship in playing with light, colors and shadow.

Forever Young: Erlinda Villanueva's Debut at 81

How does it feel celebrating you debut for the second time  with both numbers one (1) and eight (8) present.  First, during your 18th birthday; and, second, during your 81st birthday.  Everyone are hoping that we could reach eighty (80) still driving our own car, doing things we love to do and enjoying time with friends and love ones. A carefree life, forever young.

It was a night of full laughter,  dance, song, fashion, good food and unforgettable moments captured in stills and videos at Quezon City Sports Club along E. Rodriguez Avenue on August 29, 2018. Dear friends and family gathered together to celebrate the 81st birthday of Tita Erlinda Allarde Villanueva, the wife of the late General Villanueva of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Her younger brother Pacifico "Chito" Luchangco Allarde, Jr., with his wife "Minda" flew  all the way from New Jersey to attend her special day. Among those who arrived early at the venue were Tita Erlinda's best friends, among them Maru Go and Gyn-gyn Ponce - Quiazon (picture below).  Cherry Buble of Skin Appeal, Face and Body Spa in blue satin arabian style night gown with intricately embroidered gold coated thread, Hair and Make-Up Artist of Skin Appeal, Joy Timbol, Tita Erlinda's younger brother "Chito" with her wife, Minda (above left picture).

One of the most romantic moment that night was when operatic singer Kat Hipolito Mas rendered a song "Dahil Sayo", with the celebrant enjoying a dance dance number with male guests and his younger brother, "Chito".  The program was hosted by Designer Boy Lisazo.

The night's program started with the grand entrance of Tita Linda's friends doing a fashion show:
